Membership shall be individual. Any individual is eligible if he or she is a licensed adjuster, broker, agent, or other licensed insurance professional as set forth by Texas Statute, Insurance Code, Title 13. A Governmental Agency Employee is eligible if claims handling employees of the Governmental Agency are licensed adjusters, broker, agent or other licensed insurance professional as set forth by the Texas Statute, Insurance Code, Title 13.
Each member shall have one vote.
Associate member will be any other professional principally engaged in the provision of services to members of the insurance industry and who is not eligible under Section 1. Associate members shall not have a vote or be eligible for participation in the scholarship program. All Associate members must comply with the requirements of Section 2 herein.
