    Ordinary (Full) Members

Ordinary or Full Members are typically companies that are actively engaged in the conversion process of raw material to finished product, and/or partially finished products, and/or design and development of finished products. These members will also outsource overflow capacity or products for which they do not have the equipment and/or technical expertise to manufacture in-house. A printer is a dedicated printing shop that owns its own printing equipment and completes printing jobs in its own facility. In most cases, these types of organisations provide graphic design, binding and finishing services, giving customers the complete printing package. Each printer is likely to use different printing equipment for different types of printing jobs. While some printers may only offer one style of printing, like digital, offset, flexography, gravure, screen-print, or large format, others will be able to offer all, or any combination of some.

Printing SA Ordinary (Full) Members include companies that provide any one, or combination of the following functions:

    • Graphic Design only (must have own staff and software)
    • Full value chain (from graphic design, print and finishing)
    • Finishing only
