PRISA is a recognised professional body that oversees the affairs of the Public Relations and Communication Management industry in southern Africa. PRISA plays a leading role in uniting Public Relations and Communication Management Professionals. As the leader of the public relations and communication management profession, PRISA is recognised by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) as the Professional Body for the industry. The Southern African Development Community (SADC) nations, notably Namibia and Botswana, are currently engaged with SAQA in formulating aligned policies. PRISA provides professional development programmes and continuous professional development workshops for the benefit of registered members and public relations professional.
