Shalom Shelter in the rural area of Muranga in Kenya is a small grassroots organization that runs a safe house for women.
The mission is to restore the lives of survivors of intimate partner violence with a specific focus on women and their children.
Started in 2017 and registered as a social enterprise, the safe house is the solution to addressing the shortage of safe houses for survivors of domestic violence in Kenya for the survivors.
