Happy Teacher Appreciation Week from the National Rural Education Association!

In conjunction with Teacher Appreciation Week, the I Am A Rural Teacher Project has released a new teacher profile featuring Ty White, the 2022 National Rural Teacher of the Year. I Am A Rural Teacher is a collaborative storytelling effort between NREA and the Rural Schools Collaborative.

“Ty White is an excellent example of hard work and dedication,” said Dr. Allen Pratt, Executive Director of NREA. “His work with his students is simply amazing. I am reminded each year why we do the work we do....it is for our rural schools and students they serve.”
