This groundbreaking solution is aimed at addressing the persistent challenge of students’ access to digital resources. Building upon the successful deployment in West Sabine ISD, Olivia continues to tackle this issue head-on, starting with the state of Texas, where 1.7 million K-12 students currently face barriers to equitable educational experiences due to limited digital access. |

The Smithsonian American Art Museum is in search of contractor to support the grant-funded Creating Portraits of Community program. The position is full-time and remote or hybrid work is possible. |

The selected contractor will manage and facilitate a project committed to engaging rural students and teachers through community portraiture and collecting oral histories. Travel to rural schools in Kansas and Kentucky is anticipated.

Join the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Renewals webinars focused on special populations. This webinar series will provide partners with strategies to reach out to diverse communities and audiences to share information about Medicaid and CHIP renewals. Each webinar will also include a “train-the-trainer” presentation, during which CMS will walk-through a set of downloadable slides that partners can use to educate others in their communities about Medicaid and CHIP renewals. Call for proposals are currently being accepted for the 2023 Rural Library Network E-Summit. The E-Summit is scheduled for December 6 & 7th, noon to 5p.m. EST each day. The Rural Library Summit will focus on how libraries move cradle-to-career outcomes in rural places across this nation. -- "Making Space To Tell Your Story" The goals of the E-Summit are to: - Celebrate rural libraries and practitioners for the critical work in our rural communities,
- Connect and convene rural library practitioners committed to moving outcomes for rural children and youth,
- Provide an opportunity for networking and sharing best and promising practices, and
- Drive resources and opportunities to rural libraries focused on accelerating outcomes for rural children and youth.
