Jaylin Ward (they/them) is a multimedia journalist and co-founder of Generation Green. They are also a 2021 Pulitzer Center Fellow. During their tenure at Howard, Jaylin brought a farmer's market to campus, introducing students to veganism and free & fresh produce; re-established a public community garden serving Ward 1 elders in the District of Columbia, and Black and Indigenous trans people; and co-founded mĀK Collective, a media group promoting Black LGBTQ+ artwork.
