I was born at Auchi in Edo State of Nigeria on the 28th day of August, 1958. I had my early Education at Auchi and Ilesha in Osun State, where I obtained West Africa Examination Council and General Certificate Examination Advanced Level. I obtained my LLB. Hons. in 1984. Achievements:  Demonstrated accomplishment in writing legal opinion  Prosecuting criminal cases;  Land Law and Maritime and Admiralty practice.  Chieftaincy matters  Secretary to Etsako West Local Government Area  Supervised assets sharing between Etsako West and East Local Governments Area. Motivation:  Fighting for people’s right and ensuring that justice prevails;  Job satisfaction  Monetary consideration Professional Training and Certifications:  Call to the Nigeria Association on the 20th day of August 1985 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria;  A member of Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators;  Attended various Professional Conferences, Workshops and Seminars; Professional Experience:  As the Managing Partner in the Chambers of Menay A. Haruna & Co., I have track records in:  Successfully negotiated and drafted series of contract for the acquisition of properties for individual, Corporate and Government Agencies;  Successfully filed, defended many law suit;  Writing legal opinion;  Successfully mentored over thirty young lawyers. Areas of Expertise:  As a Private Legal Practitioner, I have successfully prosecuted two Chieftaincy cases from a High Court to Supreme Court;  I have successfully handled land matters in Customary Courts and High Court;  I have successfully prosecuted Criminal cases as a State Council;  Successfully defended accused persons at Customary Courts, Magistrate Courts and High Courts;  Handled about six Maritime and Admiralty Matters;  Demonstrated high professionalism in writing legal opinions;  Participated in several resolution of disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR);
