Advocating for Local Roads and Bridges
Advocating for Local Roads and Bridges
This week, a delegation comprising of 33 esteemed highway professionals embarked on a journey to Boise, uniting to advocate for critical transportation requirements at IAHD's 6th Annual Day at the Capitol Event. The success of this impactful gathering was made possible through the generous sponsorship of III-A, a self-funded health Trust committed to supporting Idaho's public agencies.

Highway district commissioners, directors, and essential personnel engaged in substantive discussions with over 50 legislators, delving into transportation needs and local construction projects. In addition to contributing to the legislative discourse, participants cultivated strong connections with their fellow highway professionals, aiming for a lasting impact to emerge from this collaborative and insightful endeavor.

Many thanks go to each legislator who dedicated their valuable time to meet with local highway representatives. Your commitment is integral to the progress of our local transportation system, safety, and economy!
