Yesterday on 26 June 2019 at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Eurocham Cambodia hosted the first edition of our CSR Contest & Awards which was very well attended by 300+ guests. The objective of the contest was to highlight the results of our CSR Contest which began in January 2019. This CSR Contest provided a platform for our members to showcase their positive impacts on individuals, the society and the environment. A total of 17 nominees had submitted 25 passionate CSR projects. On the special evening, our independent Jury handed out 5 Awards to congratulate the winners!
The guests of honor for the evening were H.E. Mr. SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister, Secretary General of CDC and H.E. Mr. George EDGAR, European Union Ambassador to Cambodia who were also co-presidents of CSR Contest Jury.
Our independent Jury members comprised Mr. HAK Sok Chea, UNIDO National Project Coordinator; Mr. HAY Phirum, EuroCham Board Member; Mr. Andeol CADIN, Chairman of EuroCham Green Business Committee; Dr. Laurent MESSMANN, Advisor to the Royal University of Law and Economics; and Dr. Eric MOUSSET, CSR Expert.
