Dear Dear BritCham Supporter,

Cambodia is fully open for business visitors and tourists !

Following a hugely successful vaccination program with extremely high vaccination rates and low Covid infection rates, the Covid entry requirements for vaccinated business visitors and tourists have been dropped. The Visa on Arrival program has been re-instated and the PCR tests before travel and RAT test on arrival are no longer required.

With the aim of stimulating the economy, encouraging business investment and giving a much needed kickstart to the tourism industry, there has never been a better time to visit Cambodia.

We have some fantastic content in this months newsletter, including:

The National Commercial Arbitration Centre - NCAC (“NCAC”) in its first emergency arbitration case recently issued an award on interim measures.

Emergency arbitration offers each party a necessary way to secure and protect each of their rights before formal proceedings begin and parties who wish to seek emergency interim relief may do so by following the criteria stipulated in the new NCAC rules.

Especially, all interim measures will now be rendered by the emergency arbitrator within 15 calendar days from the date of the appointment.
