GTCC's 60th Anniversary: Our 60 facts #11 Six days after the chamber’s first official meeting on 19 July 1962, the first meeting of the chamber’s Board of Directors was held on 25 July, with the election of President Mr. Charoon Sibunruang (1962-1972) and Vice President Mr. Hans Jürgen Gosch.
Twenty days later (14 August), the Chamber submitted a formal application to the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHT) for official recognition. Six months later (23 January 1963) the DIHT officially acknowledged the Thai-German Chamber of Commerce. |
