WiFA Supports
EmpowerU Workshops

WiFA’s Philanthropy Committee, in collaboration with BlackRock, organized a successful personal finance and investing workshop for over 300 domestic worker students. The lecture covered risk appetite assessment, portfolio construction, and fund factsheets. Students were assisted by volunteers throughout the many breakout activities and gained a better sense of the financial instruments they can consider for economic empowerment.

Our next workshops are on November 16 and 17, with a focus on Insurance and Savings. Please click on one or both of the links below to volunteer. You don't need any experience, as a full briefing will take place. Thank you for your help!

Run for RUN
November 9

RUN was one of WiFA's 2018-supported charities.

At RUN, they have a special focus on women. That's because women are often most vulnerable during times of conflict, and women face the most barriers to access sport and education activities.

In the lead up to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in November, you can take a stand against violence against women by joining the RUN Charity Race. Your support means they can continue their work of empowering female refugees on their healing journey and to build a better future for themselves and their families.
