Crossroads Foundation - No Go Christmas Gala
18 December

Crossroads Foundation invite you to NOT attend their Gala! BUT, they still need your help. This is an event which nobody attends! People still make a gift to the organisation but enjoy a quiet night at home.

"This is, traditionally, Gala time in Hong Kong. It’s also, though, a time of heartbreak in our beloved city. So we somehow didn’t feel right inviting you to a festive gala. Nor might it be safe for you. That said, Crossroads is still serving each day and we would dearly love to receive the Christmas ‘gift’ you would have given at a gala. Truth told, with recent unrest, this year sees us in particular need, so we would dearly love the gift you might otherwise have given."

Oliver Wyman Women in Financial Services Report

The latest edition of the report has found that the industry is finally making progress on gender diversity in the workforce. Mindsets are shifting and, as a result of hard work and commitment, progress is beginning to be reflected in the numbers. But that progress – 20% representation of women on executive committees and 23% on boards – is not enough. There is still a long way to go to create an industry in which women have equal access to opportunity and positive outcomes.

What got us to where we are today will not get us to our ultimate destination. So their report sets out to answer: what will deliver the next wave of change in gender diversity as we enter a new decade? Read the full report online, or download a copy, at the link below.
