On 15th February, the Chamber held it’s first networking event in Johor this year! The Business Networking Drinks served as a close-knit event to connect and establish business relationships with like-minded organisations in the Chamber’s pursuit of advocating growth of bilateral-trade and commerce between the United Kingdom and Malaysia. The event was held at Sterling Member, Marlborough College Malaysia’s (MCM) amazing venue and successfully gathered over 60 participants from both the industry and government officials alike. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Alan Stevens, Master at MCM & BMCC Board Member alongside his team for being a gracious host to us all.
It was a wonderful night of networking with the Chamber being represented by - Abrar A. Anwar, Chairman, Jennifer Lopez, Chief Executive Officer, and Nicholas Chew, BMCC Regional Network Chair Johor alongside colleagues from the Executive Office.
We would like to thank all participants who attended the networking event, and we look forward engaging with you again in the future. As the Chamber looks to spread our platform and presence, we look to your continuous support and participation.

Sunway Medical Centre officially launched its COVID-19 Vaccination for Children with Celebration with the objective of creating a children-friendly vaccine roll out.
On top of the party-feel surroundings, the hospital supplied a special care kit for the first 400 children - which included children's masks, hand sanitiser, a pack of plasters, and a note of encouragement. ELFY, the official mascot, made an appearance alongside Bellabot, the delivery bot assigned to the children's unit. The children were also given specially designed vaccination certificates with ELFY stickers to mark the completion of their first dosage.
