“This year's Gala Dinner holds special significance as we celebrate the BMCC’s 60th Anniversary. It is an occasion to reflect on our journey and the remarkable progress we've made in advancing 'UK-Malaysia Business Excellence,' the spirit and essence of our Chamber. The support and unwavering dedication of our members, both British and Malaysian companies, have been the prime catalysts in the Chamber's success and in strengthening the business ties between the two nations."

Mark Arthun
Chairman, British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce
The Gala provided a remarkable opportunity to reflect on the BMCC's journey, highlighting the remarkable progress made in advancing "UK-Malaysia Business Excellence." Over the years, the chamber has witnessed significant achievements, groundbreaking partnerships, and exemplary leadership that have propelled its success and strengthened the business ties between the two nations.

Congratulations to the Winners of the 4th British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards

As part of the celebrations, the 4th Business Excellence Awards recognised exceptional companies and individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields. These awards not only acknowledged their outstanding achievements but also served as a benchmark for others to strive for greatness.

This year's Awards witnessed an overwhelming number of outstanding nominations across various categories. With so many strong submissions, the assessors and judges decided to acknowledge the first and second runners-up for the first time!

"All the award nominees have, in one way or another, contributed to the ever-growing UK-Malaysia trade relationship. Bilateral trade increased 8.9% and reached £5.6bn in 2022. With the UK having concluded negotiations to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), British and Malaysian businesses will soon be able to take full advantage of the new opportunities ahead.”

British High Commissioner to Malaysia
Chair of the BEA Judging Panel
