From The Desk of The Executive Director
Dear Members,
Welcome back! We hope your year end holidays were rejuvenating and trust you are ready to get back to business. We are excited to usher in 2020, and with it a new decade of promise and opportunity.
This year, the BMCC has set for itself several areas of attention. These include strengthening our existing member committees and networks, as well as increasing engagements with our long-standing members, especially SMEs. We also aim to focus on delivering Trade Missions and projects that are mindful of the exporting needs of UK and Malaysian businesses.
We will kickstart 2020's calendar of events with our traditional New Year's Drink this January 15th to welcome back all of you and toast to the new year, so we look forward to seeing you then. Along with a pipeline of scheduled talk and networking events in Q1, we are excited to bring back the Digital Innovation Conference which was held to much acclaim last year, so do stay tune for that. And of course, our 3rd Annual Business Excellence Awards will return this June, with nominations opening very soon!
To all our treasured sponsors, partners and members, we thank you as always for your enduring support and we look forward to sharing a memorable 2020 with you. On behalf of our Board of Directors and all of us here at the Executive Office, we wish you a Happy New Year and hope to see you soon! Jennifer Lopez Executive Director
