PTP Continues to Boost Terminal Performance Amid COVID 19 Pandemic with Arrival of 4 Latest Quay Cranes

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of the MMC Group, has welcomed 4 new ship to shore (STS) quay cranes as it continues its drive to optimise services and capacity. The purchase of the Super Post Panamax cranes forms part of PTP’s Asset Management Strategy, which aims to improve the efficiency in the terminal, by increasing container handling capacity, capability and reliability, whilst meeting its safety standards.

PTP’s Chairman, Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh said that a series of equipment purchased by PTP is to enable the port to receive these ultra large container vessels.

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is open and ready to welcome events! 

Following the Malaysian Government’s announcement to allow the resumption of domestic business events of up to 250 participants with the necessary precautions in place, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is thrilled and excited to recommence operations and is taking bookings with immediate effect for events commencing from 1 July 2020.

In preparation for this much anticipated announcement, the Centre has proactively refined its comprehensive venue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in line with Government requirements, to deliver a controlled and regulated environment to protect and provide reassurance to employees, guests and attendees.
