Webinar Flashback: BMCC in Conversation with Natalie Black, HM Trade Commissioner to Asia Pacific, UK
On 25 August, the BMCC hosted a special webinar with Natalie Black, Her Majesty's Trade Commissioner to Asia Pacific, UK. Key topics of conversation included the current state of trade and investment opportunities in Asia Pacific and the importance of Malaysia in the region. Also discussed were the approaches taken by the Department for International Trade (DIT) in supporting UK businesses and those based in Asia Pacific including the importance of Chambers as DIT delivery partners in the region.

BMCC attends 2nd Johor Briefing and InterChamber Networking Event
Executive Director Jennifer Lopez joined by 10 fellow BMCC members based in Johor attended the Johor Briefing and Inter Chamber Networking Event on 24 August to obtain the latest insights from the Johor State Government on the overall development plans for the State.
YB Tuan Mohd Izhar Bin Ahman, Johor State Executive Council and Chairman of Investment, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives & Human Resources officiated the event on behalf of the Chief Minister of Johor. Presentations by Dato’ Dr. Badrul Hisham Bin Kassim, Deputy State Secretary (Development), MIDA and IRDA highlighted the current development and investment opportunities in Johor.
