Invest Selangor Reveals Investment Incentive Programme Foreign and Domestic Investors Called to Participate |
|
Selangor has unveiled an innovative incentive programme aimed at attracting both foreign and domestic investors to explore the state's investment and industry ecosystem. Coordinated by Invest Selangor Berhad, the state's investment arm and supported by strategic partners, this initiative seeks to bolster Selangor's position as a premier investment destination in the region.
Targeted Sectors The programme focuses on promoting investment growth in key sectors identified by Invest Selangor, including Electrical & Electronics, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Transport Equipment, Machinery & Equipment, Logistic Services, and Digital Investment.
Incentive Packages The incentive programme comprises two packages designed to support investors at different stages of their investment journey: - Pre-Investment Phase: Applicants must select a project location in Selangor. Accepted applicants will receive co-working or office support for up to two persons per company for one month.
- Post-Investment Phase: Investors with confirmed projects in Selangor can access co-working or office support for up to four persons per company for three months.
Objectives The main objectives of the programme are to provide a comprehensive platform and support for new or potential investors, optimise feasibility study resources, and accelerate the execution of investment projects.
Support Programmes - Business Ecosystem Support: Provided by Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Invest Selangor.
- Co-working or Office Support: Offered by Cyberview Sdn Bhd and Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (SITRA).
- Talent Support: Special rates for talent search services by Jobstreet and talent advisory services by Selangor Human Resources Development Centre (SHRDC).
- Accommodation Support: Special corporate rates at select hotels including Hilton, Concorde Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Wyndham Acmar Klang, Best Western, and Dash Box Hotel.
Programme Duration The programme is available from 1 March to 31 December on a first-come-first-served basis, offering investors ample opportunity to leverage these incentives and explore investment opportunities in Selangor.
