From its inception on traditional paper mediums to its current digital prowess, Berita BMITA has undergone a remarkable journey of transformation to the present BMCC Newsletter. With each iteration, our news delivery has not only evolved but also expanded to solidify its prominence in the British-Malaysian community. |

What once started as a modest bi-monthly physical magazine has now flourished into a vibrant weekly digital newsletter with more than 10,000 readers – culminating in the celebration of our 400th issue! This is a milestone that serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering timely and engaging content to our readers.
Our newsletter has come a long way since 1995, and our dedication to providing the latest in British-Malaysian news and exclusive member promotions remains a top priority. The BMCC Newsletter has since grown into a vital communication for us to raise our members' brand visibility while being an important platform for our members to showcase their products and services. With its wide reach, the newsletter is also a reliable platform to share regular Government and trade updates and spread the news from the discussions of our committees and networks.
As we grow to better embrace ESG principles, we have been showcasing our commitment to environmental conservation, eco-friendly practices, and sustainability initiatives through our monthly Green Edition Newsletter. Our members have used this platform to highlight their environmentally conscious efforts to minimise their carbon footprints and benefit the Earth. On the horizon, we look to further commit to turning the wheel of progress with our editions on DEI and Healthcare Newsletters.

Ahmad Tea has been in the competitive tea market for 28 years now. They have been working closely with an exclusive Malaysian distributor to distribute their Green Tea, Black Tea and the newly launched London Blend Tea. Soren introduced us to their various marketing efforts and their success in over 90 countries. He further shared Ahmad Tea’s sustainable strategy of conscious supply of tea and making their tea gardens more climate resilient.

This significant event brought together 140 people, including 60 children from Rumah Qaseh Ibu orphanage and children of the Embrace recipients and their families. |

The "Embrace Gift of Life" charity program, initiated by the hotel in 1985, is dedicated to raising funds for children suffering from congenital heart disease or severe heart ailments. These funds are used to provide life-saving operations and post-operative treatments, making a profound impact on the lives of these children and their families.
Daniel Kaeflein, General Manager at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, warmly welcomed the guests, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to host the event and emphasising the hotel's commitment to community support. The camaraderie and spirit of giving were palpable as attendees and volunteers gathered to share in the joy of giving back to the community.
The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of co-sponsors. - Hop On Hop Off Bus played a vital role by providing transportation for the children from Rumah Qaseh Ibu orphanage with two double-decker buses, ensuring that every child could partake in the festivities.
- Heavenly Star Music Academy and the Yayasan Nanyang Press organised captivating musical performances featuring 16 talented children aged 3 to 12 years old, creating an enchanting atmosphere filled with joy and excitement.
