On 27 July, Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim unveiled MADANI Economy, a transformative economic framework designed to invigorate the Malaysian economy, with the aim of delivering tangible benefits to the people and enhancing their overall quality of life.

The 'MADANI Economy: Empowering the People' initiative is a significant step forward for Malaysia in tackling various challenges and bolstering its competitiveness and investment appeal. Notably, the framework also addresses pressing issues that directly impact the lives of the citizens.

The economic framework is defined by seven key performance indicators that serve as medium-term milestones to be attained over a span of ten years.
