Malaysia Higher Education Minister Calls for Greater Collaboration Among Universities
|
|
Dear Subscriber,
In a push to strengthen Malaysia’s educational and research landscape, Malaysia’s Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir has urged higher education institutions to adopt a more collaborative approach to share knowledge and expertise. He emphasised that fostering strong partnerships is key to driving innovation and delivering long-term benefits for the nation.
Dr. Zambry is urging universities to move beyond competition and work together, highlighting that internal conflicts can undermine academic traditions and public confidence in the sector. By embracing a spirit of cooperation, education institutions can create a more dynamic and impactful learning ecosystem.
This call for collaboration aligns with BMCC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen UK-Malaysia ties, particularly among members in the education and industry sectors, to bridge the talent gap and equip the future workforce with essential skills.
