BMCC at Immigration Department Malaysia’s Briefing on Immigration Policies |
On 27 February, the BMCC attended a briefing on ‘Expatriates' Current Immigration Policies and Way Forward' by the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) in Putrajaya. |
Starting 1 March 2025, the Immigration Department fully digitalised the pass endorsement process by issuing only the Digital Pass (ePASS), eliminating the need for physical passport endorsements.
The current Malaysian Passport endorsement (MalPass) will no longer be used, making ePASS the only endorsement for expatriate applications moving forward. The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) will oversee its issuance, and verification can be done through the ePASS JIM application, available on both the App Store and Play Store.
Further information regarding ePASS can be found on JIM's official website here. |

National Climate Governance Summit on Transition Finance |

Sustainability is a key priority of the Chamber and our members.
We invite all who want to be part of meaningful discussions and actions on the climate crisis to join the National Climate Governance Summit by Climate Governance Malaysia.
This year’s theme, ‘Transition Finance: The Foundation of the Transition Economy,’ highlights the critical role of transition finance in enabling the shift from high-carbon systems to sustainable, low-carbon alternatives. As the climate crisis demands rapid decarbonisation, transition finance bridges the gap by supporting businesses, sectors, and countries on their journey toward net-zero emissions.
Date: 7 to 11 April 2025 Venue: Sasana Kijang (Hybrid)

Melbourne Capital Group | WEBINAR - Is UK Property a High-Growth Investment? |
The secret to building wealth through property investment isn't to: - Buy in expensive central London.
- Wait for perfect market conditions with low interest rates.
- Spend endless hours researching the “perfect” property.
The real game-changer? Strategic leverage in growth zones.
It doesn't matter how many properties you've owned. If you don't know how to identify growth zones within growth zones, you'll never be able to maximise your property returns—and build the passive income portfolio you deserve.
This 13 March at 12:30 pm (GMT+8), join Melbourne Capital Group’s FREE live webinar, where Daniel Earl of API Global reveals the UK Property Investment Framework behind exceptional returns!
