BMCC at Immigration Department Malaysia’s Briefing on Immigration Policies
image
On 27 February, the BMCC attended a briefing on ‘Expatriates' Current Immigration Policies and Way Forward' by the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) in Putrajaya.
Starting 1 March 2025, the Immigration Department fully digitalised the pass endorsement process by issuing only the Digital Pass (ePASS), eliminating the need for physical passport endorsements.

The current Malaysian Passport endorsement (MalPass) will no longer be used, making ePASS the only endorsement for expatriate applications moving forward. The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) will oversee its issuance, and verification can be done through the ePASS JIM application, available on both the App Store and Play Store.

For any queries, please contact Kasthuri Bai Venugopal, Assistant Director of Immigration, Expatriate Services Division, at  or .

Further information regarding ePASS can be found on JIM's official website .

This 13 March at 12:30 pm (GMT+8), join Melbourne Capital Group’s FREE live webinar, where  of  reveals the UK Property Investment Framework behind exceptional returns!
