Fusion 3 Event

The demands of businesses and organisations are changing rapidly. What you learned in school doesn’t prepare you for real work-life situations with adequate skills. The City of London Corporation is keen to collectively define the skills needed to succeed and flourish now and into the future.

In response, the City has made a three-year commitment to convene an annual meeting of other London, national and international businesses, education sector, cultural venues and cities of innovation between 2019-2021.

The Virtual Fusion 3 event will be the third meeting of the series which will bring 'Fusion Cities' together to explore the next challenge which is to explore fusion skills in the context of 'accessibility and inclusivity'.

'Fusion Cities' are places across the globe where there is a clear link between education, business and the cultural and creative sector. They are forward looking places with a focus on developing and enhancing skills needed now and in the future within an ethical context of social mobility and sustainability.

In 2021, Fusion 3 will be a global event and throughout the day there will be the the opportunity to attend hour-long sessions delivered directly by Fusion Cities from across the world. This will be a disruption meeting, involving active participation, collaboration and experiential learning on a global scale.

A full programme with further details, including, which Fusion City will be presenting, their session times, any preparation materials and full joining instructions will be sent to you in due course.

Spaces for this meeting are very limited so please register promptly to secure your place, and by 4 June 2021 (14:00 BST) at the latest. Please note that each person attending the event will need to directly register for the event themselves.

To enable the experts from across the world to attend and participate, there will be Fusion events taking place through out the day hosted by Fusion Cities from across the world. We advise you check the schedule carefully and sign up for all events which interest you.
