You Can Help
This is the best run energy assistance program anywhere. The staff is outstanding! I not only add a dollar every month to my Eversource bill, but I also make donations above and beyond. There is no other local nonprofit that I have more confidence in than OpFuel.

Happy Earth Day!🌎 EarthDay.org Today, we hope you celebrate our planet and commit to making it greener. One impactful place to start is by improving your home's energy efficiency and embracing innovative solutions. @followers Consider: 1. Switch to LED lighting - Replace traditional incandescent bulbs with energy-efficient LED lights. LEDs use significantly less energy and last much longer, saving you money on both energy and replacement bulbs. 2. Seal the Leaks - Keep your home cozy and energy-efficient by sealing any drafts around windows, doors, and outlets. Weather-stripping and caulking are simple fixes that can make a big difference in reducing energy waste. 3. Invest in Innovative Technology - When shopping for new appliances, opt for energy-efficient models. From washers and dryers to smart thermostats to heat pumps, there are many ways to optimize your homes energy usage. Small changes in your home can add up to significant energy savings and a lighter environmental footprint.

Shared Clean Energy Facility Program
Shared Clean Energy Facility (SCEF) Projects provide locally generated, renewable, low-carbon clean energy. The energy from these clean energy projects will benefit all of us in Connecticut for generations to come. In order to more directly share the benefits of these new facilities, some customers will receive a credit on their electric bill. For more information on how to participate in the program, click here. To apply online, visit Eversource or UI’s SCEF program websites or to download and fill out the enrollment form, please click the button below.
