The H2-Uppp programme, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), accompanies and supports efforts to ramp up the market for green hydrogen (GH2) and Power-to-X (PtX) applications in selected developing countries and emerging economies in cooperation with the private sector. In Thailand, H2-Uppp will be implemented hand in hand with the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC).

Unlike other hydrogen support initiatives, H2-Uppp focuses on the early stages of green hydrogen project development. The objective of the kick-off conference is to show the macroeconomic relevance of GH2 and PtX market development to Thai and international stakeholders. The conference will be divided into policy and business aspects of the market development with deep dive sessions on the transport, power and industry sector.
