Following from the inaugural Malaysia Climate Action Week (MCAW) in October last year, co-organised by the BMCC and the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur, and supported by the UN Global Compact Network for Malaysia and Brunei (UNGCMYB) - the BMCC is proud to take another progressive step in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNGCMYB to form a collaborative partnership to raise awareness and understanding of sustainability and climate action within businesses. The partnership with UNGCMYB will also serve as a platform to support companies that signed the BMCC Climate Action Pledge (BMCC CAP) - which was launched during the MCAW, in their commitments.

This first installment of our Climate Action series will offer our Pledge Signatories and BMCC Sustainability Network members the opportunity to hear from our Strategic Partners on how they advise and support businesses towards achieving climate commitment. The event will also be a great platform to network with like-minded organisations.

The BMCC aims to create an ecosystem consisting of technical experts, sustainability practitioners, and business leaders - that will be able to support businesses embarking on their climate journey.
