Facing various risks, internal and external, would the Thai economy gain speed in growth this year? The conflicts in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas, ongoing effects of high inflation and Russia's war against Ukraine, economic slowdown in Europe, and China's crisis in financial and property sectors are seen as challenges for Thailand's economic growth.

The luncheon will provide you with an overview of global and regional challenges, in particular for German businesses discussed by our prominent keynote speaker, Dr. Martin Wansleben, CEO of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). The keynote on "DIHK Insights: Germany's economic landscape and business ties with ASEAN and Asia-Pacific" will be followed by a panel discussion of representatives of GTCC member companies on "Industry insights, sustainability, competitiveness and challenges ahead".
