Registration Procedure / COVID-19 Regulations:

• Strictly no walk-ins policy. Pre-registration is required.
• Mask is a mandatory requirement during the site visit.
• Dress Code: Closed-toed, nonslip shoes must be worn (open-toed shoes, sandals or high heels are not allowed). Long pants, shirts or blouses with sleeves are required (no shorts, capris or dresses)
• Photos and video recording are not allowed during the plant visit

About TÜV SÜD Battery and Automotive Components Testing Centre

TÜV SÜD Battery and Automotive Components Testing Centre in Chonburi, Thailand is one of total nine testing centres in the global network of TÜV SÜD battery labs spreading across North America, Germany and Asia. Spanning over 3,000 square metres, the new facility at the Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate brings in integrated service, easy access to global expertise and local knowhow to address the quality and safety requirements for e-Mobility adoption. The facility was inaugurated in July 2022 at the hands of Mr. Pisit Rangsaritwutikul, President of Thailand Automotive Institute and Ms. Patcharada Nawakawongkarn, Director of Regional Investment and Economic Center 4 (Chonburi), Thailand Board of Investment, along with TÜV SÜD executives.

Equipped to handle performance, environmental and durability testing to a name a few, The Battery and Automotive Components Testing Centre in Chonburi is TÜV SÜD's second location in Thailand after Pathum Thani facility that has been catering to safety, quality, security and sustainability requirements of Thailand industries for over 10 years.
