GTCC Business & Study Trip to Germany

"Electromobility – driver of the future (EVs)"

by visiting HANNOVER MESSE 2023 and Exclusive Site Visits

14 – 23 April, 2023

Delegates would gain firsthand experience in the German electric vehicle sector from a variety of well-known manufacturers throughout Germany. The itinerary includes the following site visits:

Site Visit: STARTEAM Global Germany GmbH

Producing and supplying printed circuit boards for the automotive sector. Actively driving and supporting the shift to electromobility. Its printed circuit boards can be found in almost all car brands worldwide.

Site Visit: Next.e.GO Mobile SE (tbc)

Experience German manufacturer of electric vehicles and sustainable mobility systems. Next.e.GO Mobile’s story begins with e-mobility pioneers in Aachen, Germany. The source of constant engineering and manufacturing innovations. The goal is to create the most sustainable and long-lasting electric vehicle for the urban environment.

Site Visit: BMW

Visit BMW Group Plant in Leipzig, the first foray into e-mobility. Since 2013, BMW Group has been developing the BMW i3, the company's first all-electric car. Leipzig is a member of the e-drive manufacturing network that manufactures battery components.

Site Visit: Volkswagen (VW) (tbc)

Visit the high-performance electric car production plant of the Volkswagen Group. The plant is VW Group's largest location for electric vehicles in Europe. For example, the VW ID.3, a small electric hatchback, and ID.4, a compact electric crossover, are built as electric vehicles here. The Zwickau facility offers an insight into the architecture of high-volume EV production.
