"How mental health and well-being affect or support women in leadership?"

Women leaders are among groups vulnerable to mental health challenges and many of them are currently facing declines in mental health due to more demands at work. As businesswomen have different comfort levels to address their mental health, these mental risks could affect their well-being, leadership and business relationship to a various degree.


Join us in GTCC Business Women Networking (GTCC BWN). Cristy Aphimmonthol, Managing Director at Coachology, will moderate the panel discussion with Dr. Jinda Udompanyavit, Family Physician and Therapist at Bumrungrad International Hospital, and Ploytabtim Yeetho, Country HR Lead Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia at Bayer Thailand, on how mental health and well-being affect women's leadership.


Topics of discussion include:

  • How mental well-being is important to women in leadership and their surroundings.
  • The meaning of mental well-being to business women and their organizations.
  • Challenges in managing mental well-being in an organization.
  • Suggestions for team members to deal with personal problems that affect their performances.
  • How women leaders should handle certain expectations and obligations on how they need to show up.
  • Experience exchanges on unconscious bias, solutions and tips on how to keep mental well-being harmonious personally and professionally.
  • Advice to new female leaders on how to keep healthy mind and deliver positive performances.

About "GTCC Business Women Network":

A platform for businesswomen to network with female leaders, ex-pat businesswomen, talented female young professionals, and interns in an intercultural context to connect & grow. Together, they can benefit from this initiative by developing their ideas, gaining even more professional know-how, and participating in various networking events and seminars. We also offer a great opportunity for businesswomen to participate as a volunteer working group to initiate new ideas for and/or moderate our future events.
