Tomorrow, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will travel to Boston, Massachusetts where he will join CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky for an intimate town hall. Hosted by the YMCA of Greater Boston and Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, this town hall will give families and students the chance to ask Secretary Cardona and Dr. Walensky about plans for children going back to school safely and address any concerns around returning to the classroom this fall. Secretary Cardona and Dr. Walensky will also discuss how the YMCA and Boys & Girls Clubs are integral to assist with improving student outcomes, academic achievement, and social-emotional development.
