Delegates would gain firsthand experience of the German manufacturing sector from a variety of well-known technology leaders. The itinerary includes the following site visits and a visit to EMO 2023 in Hanover.

Site Visit: Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG

"milling at its best" – is the slogan of Hermle AG. Hermle CNC milling machines are used to produce tools, moulds and production parts that are pivotal to suppliers of medical technology, optical, aviation, automotive, and many more industries.

Site Visit: Gühring KG

Gühring KG is one of the world-wide leading manufacturers of rotary precision tools for metal machining with approximately 8,000 employees.

Site Visit: Arburg GmbH + Co. KG (tbc)

Arburg manufactures plastics processing machines in Germany, employing around 3,600 employees worldwide. The family-run company was founded in 1923.

Site Visit: TRUMPF SE + Co. KG

TRUMPF is a high-tech company offering manufacturing solutions in the fields of machine tools and laser technology. TRUMPF is a technology and market leader in highly versatile machine tools for sheet metal processing and in the field of industrial lasers. The visit includes machine tool customer center (running machines with smart factory system) and the laser technology center.

Site Visit: WILO SE

A multinational technology company manufacturing pumps and pump systems for the building technology, water and industrial sectors. Operating a hydrogen plant (H2Powerplant) at the company headquarters in Dortmund.
