The new Golden #Visa was the topic du jour as #AmCham Indonesia's Human Resources Committee meeting was briefed on the policy by Director of Immigration Cooperation Anggiat Napitupulu, Head of the Sub-directorate of Immigration Residence Status Tessar Bayu Setyaji, and Directorate of Immigration Traffic Analyst Wihadi Sutrisno, on April 30 at #SSEK Law Firm Office. The discussion centered on enabling investors to leverage the benefits of the #GoldenVisa program, and also updates on a new bridging visa scheme for foreigners. #Boeing Indonesia Country Director Zaid Alami shared his company's experiences working through the Golden Visa process. AmCham Indonesia fully supports Directorate of Immigration efforts to attract qualified investors through the Golden Visa and the streamlining of immigration services. The #ASEAN digital economy's expansion took center stage at the Digital Economy Forum III, held on April 24-25. Hosted by MangoTango Asia as part of the USAID-funded Digital Asia Accelerator program, the forum convened representatives from participating AmChams across Southeast Asia. Discussions spanned various themes, notably #AI development, the ASEAN Digital Economic Framework Agreement (#DEFA), and fostering #digital skills.
