Dr Fung is an Executive Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties and the
CEO of its non-property businesses. He is also a deputy chairman
of SmarTone Holdings, a vice chairman of SUNeVision Holdings. Dr
Fung is also a director of Transport International Holdings (the listed holding company of Kowloon Motor Bus), and the chairman of the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre.
Before joining Sun Hung Kai, Dr Fung was a director of McKinsey and Company, the global consulting company. He was the managing
partner of McKinsey Hong Kong for many years.
Dr Fung is the president of the Hong Kong Society for Protection of
Children. He is the honorary secretary for the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. He is a member of the General Committee of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Dr Fung is a member of the board of the Hong Kong Philharmonic, as well as the Asian Youth Orchestra. He is a member of the Museum Advisory Committee (MAC) and a member of the History Sub-committee under MAC of Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Dr Fung graduated from Oxford University (Modern History) and has a PhD from Harvard University in History and East Asian Languages. He was a Guggenheim Fellow and taught at Brown University as an assistant professor.

Grace is the Head of Green and Sustainable Finance at Hong Kong
Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) with responsibility for the
development of HKEX’s green and sustainable finance programme.
From 2013 to April 2020, Grace was the Chief Operating Officer
of HKEX’s Listing Division responsible for structured products &
fixed income, primary market information, listing policies, listing
enforcement and accounting affairs. Prior to joining HKEX, Grace
was with UBS in various roles including Chief of Staff and Global
Chief Operating Officer of UBS Legal & Compliance Department.
Grace is an Honorary Adviser and a member of the Inspection
Committee of the Financial Reporting Council; a member of both
the Regulatory Oversight Board and the Sustainability Committee
of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and
co-chairs the Market Development Work Stream and the Carbon
Market Working Group of the Green and Sustainable Finance CrossAgencies Steering Group established by Hong Kong Monetary
Authority and Securities and Futures Commission.
Mervyn is responsible for Schroders’ Sustainability Strategy in Asia
Pacific. In this role he works in partnership with client facing and
product teams to build sustainable investment propositions across
the region and leads the company’s Regional Centre of Excellence
for Sustainability.
Prior to this he was Global Head of ESG Research at Fitch Ratings
from 2019 to 2021, overseeing a research team of 4 analysts across
London and Hong Kong which primarily focus on thematic and
cross sector ESG research.
Mervyn was also Head of Fixed Income, ESG Research, at MSCI
from 2017 to 2019, a Sovereign Credit Analyst at Fitch Ratings from
2015 to 2017, an Economist at the Bank of England from 2009 to
2015, and an Equities Sales Analyst at Citigroup in London from 2007 to 2009.
Mervyn graduated from Oxford University with BA in Economics
and Management and the Birkbeck College, University of London
with a MSc in Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Having served at Towngas for over 30 years, Isaac’s experience
spans ESG, company secretarial services, human resources, project
investment, corporate affairs and beyond. As Secretary of the ESG
committees of both Towngas and Towngas China, Isaac initiated
and organized the first national ESG forum by a gas company in
mainland China in 2012. Thereafter in 2013, he made the ESG report
an imperative item on the agenda of annual board meetings for
mainland gas joint venture companies of the Group.
Isaac is an Associate with the designations of Chartered Secretary
and Chartered Governance Professional of The Chartered
Governance Institute UK and an Associate of The Hong Kong
Chartered Governance Institute. He is also a member of the Hong
Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association.
Isaac holds a Master of Business Administration degree from City

Edgar is the Chief Operating Officer at Esquel Group, one of the
world’s leading textile and apparel companies employing over
35,000 people worldwide.
Edgar is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of solid
general management experience. Prior to his appointment as
COO at Esquel, he had taken on various leadership roles in sales
and other corporate functions in the group, after serving as top
management in different industries, including apparel technology
service, quality assurance as well as food and beverage retailing.
Early on in his career, he founded an Internet start-up powering
performance-based online marketing in Greater China, designed
and structured equity derivatives products at the Jardine Fleming
Group, and coordinated the design and launch of Hong Kong’s
Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) System as an administrative
officer of the Hong Kong Government.
An established public speaker, Edgar has frequently been featured
in apparel and youth forums. He is the founding Chairman of the
Youth Arch Foundation that aims at identifying and developing
young leaders. He also chairs the supervisory committee of the
Youth Arch Trust and sits on the Board of the Esquel-Y.L. Yang
Education Foundation.

by Innovation China. Edgar is also a Fellow of Aspen China

Tom is the Managing Director, Commercial Group, responsible
for HKT’s enterprise and BPO businesses. On top of running the
telecommunication businesses, in recent years, Tom has led his
team to focus on providing digital transformation solutions to
enterprises and the public sector, which has become an important

Tom had held various management and executive positions within

Anne is the Group Director of Digital for Jardine Matheson Limited
– a position she has held since June 2019. She is responsible for
providing oversight of and further developing the Group’s digital
and innovation strategy and agenda. Before joining the Group,
Anne was a senior managing director in Accenture where she
worked for 28 years. In this period, she worked across the US, Europe and Asia with global companies transforming their business and operating models to meet changing market and portfolio needs.
She is a member of The Women’s Foundation, the 30% Club and
the board liaison with the Women of Influence Committee at the
American Chamber of Commerce. She holds the role of the treasurer of the American Chamber in Hong Kong and is an independent non-executive director on the board of Jazz Pharmaceuticals – a global healthcare company founded in Palo Alto.
Anne has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from
Dublin City University and a Postgraduate Degree in Financial

senior management experience. As the Human Resources
Director of MTR Corporation Limited, she is responsible for all of the Company’s human resources and administration affairs.
Prior to joining MTR, she had held senior positions at major financial
institutions such as Citibank, JP Morgan, HSBC and Hong Kong
Exchanges and Clearing Limited.
Margaret is currently the President and a Fellow Member of the
Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management. She is a
member of the Hospital Authority, a council member of HKMA, the
Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational
Qualifications, and the Employees Retraining Board.
Margaret holds a BA degree in Business Administration from The

Samuel is currently a Partner and the Human Capital Leader of
Deloitte Consulting’s Hong Kong office. He has more than 20
years of management consulting and industry experiences across
Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Deloitte, Samuel worked with IBM and
Accenture. Throughout his career, Samuel has worked with a
number of iconic clients in the insurance, luxury retail, hospitality,
transportation, technology, higher education and government
industries. He has advised clients on a wide range of human capital
topics including organizational design and change management,
leadership development, HR and talent transformation, and HR
technology implementation.
Samuel received his BS in Systems Engineering from Boston University and his MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Shivakumar or Shiv as he is popularly known is currently Group
Executive President at Aditya Birla Group for Strategy and Business
Development. He joined the ABG in January 2018.
Prior to this, Shiv was Chairman and CEO for PepsiCo for four years
and before that with Nokia as CEO for India and later emerging
markets for nearly a decade. Shiv has been a CEO for half his
career and was one of the youngest CEOs in India. Shiv worked
in Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) for a number of years, mostly in marketing. Shiv has worked with over 50 brands in his career and
seen many business transformations.
Shiv writes and teaches regularly on Innovation, Leadership,
Followership, Business Models, Digitization etc. across the leading

Shiv is an avid sports watcher, a great fan of Manchester United
and Barcelona football teams, John Mc Enroe and Roger Federer

(IIMA) between 2012 and 2017 as well as being on the Board of

2019 and Chairman of the Advertising Standards Council of India
for 2018-19. He is currently on the board of XLRI and Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur).
