Q: Where is Boracay?
A: Boracay is an island south of Manila, Philippines.
Q: How do I get there?
A: There are two airports In Boracay: Caticlan and Kalibo. Caticlan (Godofredo P Ramos Airport) is the more convenient airport to land in. You will most likely need to transit through Manila or Cebu. If you land in Manila, you will need to transfer terminals to get to the domestic airport. Not all terminals are next to each other. If your arrival terminal is different from the domestic terminal, you will need to take a shuttle or taxi.
If you land in Cebu, you will just need to move from one side of the terminal to the other.
Whether you enter through Manila or Cebu, the flight to Boracay will take a little over an hour.
Q: Which airlines fly to Caticlan and Kalibo?
A: We recommend flying with Philippine Airlines, Air Asia, Cebu Pacific, or Royal Air.
Q: What is the venue for ABF in Boracay?
A: We are staying at Crimson Resort and Spa (https://www.crimsonhotel.com/boracay), located at Station 0. The main parts of the island are in Station 1 to 3. Station 0 is the newest part of the island. It is more exclusive with its own small beachfront. Perfect for forum! Don't worry – we planned some events at Stations 1 to 3.
Q: How do I get to Crimson Resort?
A: We've made some special arrangements for those landing in Caticlan. Our team will meet you at the airport, and drive you for five minutes to the welcome center. From the Welcome Center, we will take you to the resort via a 15-20 minute speed boat ride. We're not using Harley's like in Langkawi, but you will still feel the rush of the find on your face.
For those arriving in Kalibo, you will need to book a private vehicle to take you to the Caticlan Welcome Center. It's about US$100 for a van for three. It's a 2.5-hour ride. Once you get to the welcome center, we take you to the resort via speed boat.
Q: How do I book a room at Crimson?
A: Fill up the attached Room Reservation Form and email it to boracay.sm2@crimsonhotel.com,
and cc Veron at eoasiabridge@gmail.com
