Steve is Deputy Head and a key partner in Rajah & Tann Singapore’s TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) practice group. Headquartered in Singapore, Rajah & Tann Asia is the largest law firm in South East Asia, with a regional footprint in 9 Asian countries.

Steve is frequently invited to share his insights on IT/IP/data protection/Entertainment law and developments, at speaking engagements. Steve has advised and assisted multiple organizations on compliance with Singapore’s new personal data protection law, which fully came into force on 2 July 2014. They include organizations from the banking/financial, insurance, property, health & wellness, retail, education, logistics, IT etc sectors.

Mr Teo Poh Soon is the Sales Director for Ultimaco in Asia where he is responsible for sales and development of technology partner, channel partner and customer relationships. His role will focuses on helping Ultimaco customers in designing and implementing data protection solutions.

He has 24 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry with a particular emphasis in Data Security and Network Security. Prior to Ultimaco, he was with Futurex as Director of Business Development in Asia tasked with the role of expanding Futurex's hardened enterprise security in the asian market. He was in charge of regional sales with Sourcefire (acquired by Cisco) and Sonicwall (acquired by Dell) who were the leaders in Network Security. He was the Regional Chief Sales Representative with Rainbow Technologies (acquired by SafeNet) managing the OEM business, Rights Management business and as well as the Enterprise Security business for 6 years in South East Asia.

He brings significant business development experience and a deep knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends, and possesses a strong record of developing, and managing channel partners with a focus on enhancing revenue streams.
