Dr. Heather Brausa
Staff Doctor, Head of Community Practice at the Animal Medical CenterDr. Heather Brausa obtained her bachelor degree from the University of Virginia and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ. She then spent a year at a private practice in Brooklyn, NY. In 2008 Dr. Brausa joined the Community Practice Service at the Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Brausa is a Long Island native who currently resides in a small Brooklyn apartment with her wife, two kiddos, two dogs, two cats and a turtle.
Judith Harbour
Licensed Social Worker at Animal Medical CenterJudith Harbour leads AMC’s Pet Loss Support Group. She holds meetings every other Thursday from 6:15pm-8:15pm in the 5th floor conference room of the Animal Medical Center. These meetings are free and open to the public.
