John Diez came to LABI with 25 years of experience working in state and national campaigns. In his role, as Director of Political Action Committees (PACs), Diez is lead on efforts to advance LABI’s long standing mission of promoting the principles of the free enterprise system by building support for LABI’s four independent PACs – NORTHPAC, EASTPAC, SOUTHPAC and WESTPAC.
Diez got his start in 1990 working for Campaign Opinion and Research Analyst and SCBI. In both capacities he worked with redistricting data, census data, election results and voter files. In 2000 he moved to Washington DC where he worked for national political organizations on data related projects such as redistricting, voter file development, targeting and survey research.

Bill is an adjunct faculty member of New York University’s Tisch School for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, and he serves on the faculty of the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management.

Since then he has been the lead consultant assisting clients in increasing performance in sales, customer service, supervision, and leadership. Anissa Starnes, IOM has enjoyed a successful career in helping Chambers of Commerce and Nonprofit organizations succeed. She has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit and chamber of commerce management and is embarking on this new adventure as a consultant to organizations across the globe. She has had an extensive career as an advocate for business interests, including CEO positions with several chambers of commerce. Anissa also had the privilege of serving as President & CEO of a very successful and popular nonprofit, Girls on the Run International.
Anissa is passionate about helping businesses and organizations grow customer, member, and donor relationships. In recent years, she has presented training and workshops to more than 30,000 business owners and nonprofit executives to help them build capacity within their own organizations. Anissa’s strength lies in being a connector of people and she enjoys building bridges and partnerships between people and causes.
