Dr. Jacobs is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University where he studied Communications and he earned his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. Dr. Jacobs has been providing individual, couples and family therapy to individuals from various walks of life for the past 15 years. He has worked in inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings. He has also worked as a clinician within the juvenile justice and child welfare systems for Clark County, a combined 11 years. Dr. Jacobs has also taught various psychology courses at several different universities over the years as an adjunct professor. Additionally, he is a team clinician for the Las Vegas Raiders where he provides counseling to players, coaches and staff as well as conducts NFL-mandated trainings for the team. Dr. Jacobs is also a mental health media consultant for Las Vegas Fox 5 News, Las Vegas Channel 13 News, Power 88.1 Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Dr. Christina Vela, Chief Executive Officer of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, has more than two decades of professional and progressive human and social service experience that includes developing and administering foster care, homeless and supportive services to children, youth, transition age-youth and their families.
She has worked at the non-profit level as the Executive Director and the Chief Program Officer for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, a Manager for the Clark County Department of Family Services, Social Services Program Specialist for the State of Nevada and a Program Specialist for the Federal Administration for Children and Families-Children’s Bureau in Washington DC. More recently, Christina has been the Coordinator for the State of Nevada Coalition to Prevent the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
Christina holds her Doctorate in Public Policy and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is a proud alumnus of Emerge Nevada, Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2013, Jameson Fellows and Clark County Leadership Academy.
Additionally, Christina is a National Board Member for The Family Focused Treatment Association, was a member of the Board of Trustees for the CASA Foundation of Las Vegas and led St. Jude’s Ranch for Children to receive the Governor’s Point of Light Bronze Medal for Volunteerism. Christina was recognized in 2020 with the NAWBO Women of Distinction Award and the Vistage Member Excellence Impact Award and in 2018 with Vegas Inc.’s Women to Watch coveted award.
Rob Reed has been a career public servant working for more than 38 years in federal and state governments. Rob served as an Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in Washington D.C. (1982-1987) and more recently in the (Eastern District of Pennsylvania (EDPA) (1989-2017). As a federal prosecutor, Rob investigated and prosecuted a wide range of cases including, among others, violent gang prosecutions, violent crimes, focusing on serial offenders, threats against the president, civil rights, complex white-collar investigations, among others. In 1995, Rob was selected to serve on a Presidential task Force focusing on national security issues. Beginning in 2002, Rob held a number of supervisory roles including Chief of the Firearms (violence) Section, the anti-gang coordinator, and the violent crime coordinator. He served as the Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division and was responsible for supervising the Criminal Division, initiating programs to enhance collaboration among law enforcement, assist in identifying the most dangerous individuals for prosecution, overseeing all gang prosecutions. In 2010, Rob was named the Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney and was responsible for expanding the office’s vision of criminal justice from solely relying on prosecution to include violence prevention, prisoner reentry and community outreach, including working with underserved communities. Rob was instrumental in supporting the trauma-informed care training of criminal justice professionals within the Philadelphia Police Department, in the EDPA and the DOJ. Rob also helped expand the USAO’s nationally recognized Prisoner Reentry Program.
In March 2017, Rob was appointed as an Executive Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and now oversees the Special Initiatives section. He speaks across the Commonwealth on a number of issues including the opioid epidemic, gun violence, campus safety, prisoner reentry, civil rights, and trauma. In 2017, he spearheaded the creation of the Pennsylvania Reentry Council, which he chairs, that for the first time, brings together reentry stakeholders from around the Commonwealth. Beginning in 2017, Rob also initiated an effort to make Pennsylvania a trauma-informed state. In 2020, Rob was selected to work with Governor Tom Wolf’s Office of Advocacy and Reform to create a Trauma-Informed Pennsylvania and now oversees the Criminal Justice Action team to enhance criminal justice outcomes.. Rob regularly presents on trauma and trauma-informed care to diverse audiences.
Rob has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School and is married with three children
Christopher Kaag is founder and CEO of the IM ABLE Foundation building on his philosophy of the mental and physical benefits of activity regardless of one’s physical circumstances. He is a fierce advocate for people with challenges in this region and continues to uphold IM ABLE’s mission by providing adaptive grants and programming to the adaptive community.
Chris speaks in the community to audiences of all ages to help change perceptions of what a person with different challenges can accomplish and to encourage everyone to view those challenges as stepping stones not crutches. “We all have bumps along the way. Don’t let them be your crutch; make them your stepping stones. I was a 21-year-old US Marine diagnosed with adrenomyeloneuropathy, a degenerative nerve disorder. Facing challenging times and obstacles, I have turned it into something positive and fulfilling. As we face the challenges of today, I will share my motto of Improvise: figuring out a different way to do things, Adapt: implement that change into your daily life, and Overcome: moving on with your life with no excuses.”
Chris has received many accolades during his career: Induction into the Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as a Courageous Athlete (2008), Penn State Alumni Achievement Award honoring outstanding young alumni (2009), a Pennsylvania State Resolution by the House of Representatives (2012), the American Red Cross Community Impact Hero Award (2015), Greater Reading Rising Star Award (2015), and PPL’s Bright Lights Award (2020).
Traynesha Allen is a Social Worker with five years of experience working for Resources for Human Development, three as an Intensive Case Manager. Traynesha received a BSW at Temple University and is currently studying at Widener University for her MSW. She is devoted to making effective connections while encouraging growth to all that she encounters. Traynesha is inspired daily by her six year old daughter and the community that he aims to serve. In her free time, Traynesha enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
Currently Blended Case-Management Supervisor for Service Access and Management Inc., Samantha Armitage has spent her young career serving those with Substance Use Disorders. Serving adolescents and adults in the roles of assessor, group facilitator, and counselor on the outpatient and inpatient levels; recognizing the relevance and importance of systems communicating and working together to serve individuals with all diagnoses and backgrounds. Samantha holds a Masters in Social Work and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Passionate about developing a dynamic team, and continuing to expand her understanding of co-occurring disorders and barriers to social functioning experienced by populations served.
Sandi Bellis, B.A., is a Personal Safety Trainer for Service Access & Management, Inc. Sandi’s role is to provide De-escalation and Safety training and C&Y worker safety training. Sandi holds a BA in Criminal Justice and had worked for Tioga County (PA) Human Services for 27 years. She held the position of Director of Residential Services, in that position she was responsible for the residential treatment and secure detention programs as well as foster care, Independent Living, and several other C&Y programs. Sandi has been certified as a Casework Supervisor through the CWRC (Child Welfare Resource Center), Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainer (TCI), Safe Crisis Management Trainer (SCM) and she is a federally accredited PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Auditor for juvenile facilities.
Yolanda Bennett graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice of Science from the University of Phoenix. She is currently working on completing her master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. As the new Manager of the Truancy Prevention Outreach Program for the Department of Juvenile Justice Services, she helped develop and implement a program to address chronic absenteeism by identifying the root cause(s) of truancy. Before joining the Department of Juvenile Justice Services, Mrs. Bennett was a Manager with the Department of Family Services for 14 years, providing protective services for vulnerable children in the community. Mrs. Bennett manages a team of approximately 64 County employees and collaborates with community partners that provide educational and supportive services. Mrs. Bennett is also active within the community by volunteering at the local homeless shelter and convalescent homes in the Las Vegas area.
Dylan Black, CCM, is an Onboarding, Outreach, and Quality Supervisor for Mental Health Services with Service Access & Management, Inc. in Pennsylvania. He has been employed with SAM for 8 years. In his current role, Dylan has developed several in house tools to measure and report on line staff meeting quality and productivity standards. His secondary focus has been on employee engagement and communication. Dylan received his Master’s in Business Administration from Penn State University and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cedarville University.
Catherine Breneman is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and Director of Field Education at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member, she had extensive career in inpatient, outpatient, and residential behavioral health settings as a social worker and administrator. She also has experience as a social worker in substance use treatment, medical settings, home health, hospice, and military social work. In addition to her current work at Hood, Dr. Breneman is a social work consultant in the Army Fellowship in Child and Family Therapy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and a volunteer in the Services to the Armed Forces with the Red Cross. She earned her M.S.W. at West Virginia University and Ph.D. in social work at the University of Pittsburgh.
Nancy L. Clemens is the Children and Youth Service Line Director for Service Access and Management, Inc. (SAM). Nancy has a BS in Psychology from Bloomsburg University of PA, an MS in Criminal Justice Administration from Shippensburg University of PA, and completed a Fellowship at the National Center for State Courts’ Institute for Court Management. Nancy served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer.
Nancy worked as a Tioga County Probation/Parole Officer from 1995 to 2002, District Court Administrator until 2016, and Administrator of the Department of Human Services until 2020.
Nancy received a Special Commendation from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2006 for her work on the Judicial Security Council. In 2020, she was appointed to the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board.
Nancy also works as an instructor at the Mansfield University of PA Municipal Police Academy, the Penn State University Deputy Sheriff’s Academy, and the Child Welfare Resource Center.
Andrea Concordia is the County Programs Service Line Director with Service, Access, & Management, Inc. (SAM, Inc.) in Pennsylvania, a NACM Charter Member organization. SAM, Inc. is a human service organization serving over 25,000 individuals in 65 counties in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Behavior Analysis from St. Joseph’s University. She has been employed by SAM, Inc. for more than 13 years in a variety of positions. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing the behavioral health services that specifically relate to county contracted services across the state. Her passions include the fostering of relationships with external stakeholders to develop opportunities in areas of need, and the development of forensic programming that is specifically tailored to divert individuals with behavioral health diagnoses from incarceration. She prides herself on honesty, loyalty, and kindness, which are essential for successful collaboration in all organizations.
Courtney Dandy-Fralick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist-I. Her clinical interests include expanding access to therapy to under treated populations especially communities of color. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Northcentral University pursuing her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, specialization: Mental Health Administration. She plans to focus her dissertation on developing targeted training for supervisors to better equip her peers with handling discussions of race with the therapists they supervise. She is also training to be a Rapid Resolution Therapist through the Institute for Rapid Resolution Therapy® which is a trauma modality.
Lydia DeBiase is an Instructor at Kutztown University. She received her master’s in social work from Widener University’s trauma-informed clinical program. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She worked in child welfare for 17 years as a case worker, supervisor, and placement administrator. She has a private practice specializing in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She has provided clinical supervision to social workers for the last 5 years.
Ron Frederick is the Director of Safety and Security for Service Access and Management (SAM), Inc. He came to this position with over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, having spent seven years as a Detective/Sergeant, eight years as Chief of Police, and 15 years as a use of force instructor. He served for 13 years on the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team (SWAT), including five years as a Specialty Teams Leader. Additionally, he spent seven years as a member of the Dauphin County Joint Investigative Team, working closely with Children and Youth Services and the District Attorney’s Office to investigate reports of child abuse. Ron has been an adjunct instructor/trainer at the Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) Police Academy for 15 years and teaches courses on Patrol Vehicle Operations, Mechanics of Arrest, Tactical Firearms, Recognizing Special Needs, and Scenario Trainings.
Janice Gasker has been a social work practitioner and educator for over 25 years. She teaches generalist social work practice to bachelor's and Master's students, and advises doctoral candidates. She is involved in program administration and evaluation and is the author of numerous articles and several books, including Generalist Social Work Practice (Sage Publications).

Jillian Gosselin, MSW, LSW, CPSS, is a Regional Director of Mental Health Services at Service Access & Management, Inc., in Western Pennsylvania. Previously, Ms. Gosselin was a Diversion Specialist and Forensic Blended Case Management Supervisor. She has worked to further develop the Forensic Mental Health Diversion Program as well as develop and expand case management services specifically for the forensic mental health population. Ms. Gosselin graduated from Albright College with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and from Marywood University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Over the past 18 years, Ms. Gosselin has presented at National and International Conferences on various topics including mental health, drug and alcohol, sex workers, prevention of high risk behaviors among youth, and HIV prevention. Ms. Gosselin also published an article in the Positive Approaches Journal in May 2020 entitled “Collaboration to Continuity: A Case Study on Berks County’s Mental Health Forensic Diversion Program.”
In addition to her work in the behavioral health field, she continues to work as an independent consultant, writing grant proposals, analyzing data, and working with a highly qualified evaluation team for federally-funded substance abuse grant programs focusing on at-risk populations. Ms. Gosselin also works as a Peer Reviewer for SAMHSA grant applications. In previous years, she has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Amy Groh is the Director of Crisis Intervention and Delegate Services at Service Access and Management, Inc., a private non-profit agency that provides intake, referral, case management, Crisis Intervention and emergency services under contract to the Berks County Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Program and Community Care Behavioral Health Services Organization. Amy has been working in the field of mental health for nearly 26 years, having worked as a case manager, case management supervisor and Associate Director for the Mental Health Department. Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kutztown University and a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health from Alvernia University. Amy is an active member of the Berks County Suicide Prevention Task Force as well as a Certified QPR Instructor.
Dan Guidice is a graduate of Temple University and has provided services to individuals with developmental disabilities for 10 years. In his current role as Manager of Organizational Effectiveness for The Columbus Organization, Dan manages the design and implementation of training and development programs targeting Care Coordination services. Dan’s prior experience working with The Columbus Organization in Delaware include roles as a Community Navigator and Training Specialist. Dan has also served as a Program Manager for Day Habilitation and Residential programs in Maryland and Delaware.
Anthony Hakel has worked in the human services field for over 18 years. In addition to being a conference speaker previously, he has provided training to agency staff and peers on a number of topics. Working at Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG), a virtually based company, has provided him unique opportunities to present in-person and virtually over the last 12 years. Anthony’s areas of focus include servant leadership, self-care, supervision skills, and team building skills.
As Director of Behavioral Health for Geisinger Health Plan, Amie is a healthcare professional with over 16 years of experience in both acute and outpatient settings, with the last 8 in the managed care industry. In her current role, Amie was instrumental in the successful in-sourcing of Geisinger Health Plan’s behavioral health benefit from an outside vendor and the development of an innovative, expanded care model to serve members in the community. An experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry, she has a proven track record of successfully managing staff, impacting managed care outcomes and improvement of patient engagement strategies.
Lana Hunt is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Social Work and has 30 years of experience in the field of social services with the past 20 years specifically in case management. Lana’s current responsibilities as Director of Communications and Professional Development for Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG) include ensuring that IPMG Employee Owners receive the most current and up-to-date training and information and ensuring that IPMG is using information and input received from Individuals served, families, guardians, and other stakeholders to direct ongoing quality improvement of the services IPMG provides. Angela Jones-Womack is a Social Worker who graduated from West Chester University in 2018 with her BSW. Angela has worked for Resources for Human Development since 2015, first as a Direct Support Professional at a safe haven for women, then as a Resource Coordinator at Fasst Connections, and finally is currently employed as an Intensive Case Manager at RH D's Fasst Connections. Angela has a fierce passion for advocating for oppressed and marginalized populations, and enjoys engaging with her participants daily while assisting them in meeting their personalized goals. Angela is a wife, and mother of one adult son. She has written a Christian devotional book, and loves to blog about health, fitness, and spiritual matters.
Hyung Kim is the Personal Safety Trainer at Service Access and Management, Inc. Hyung is responsible for the De-Escalation & Safety program. He has over 40 years in Martial Arts skills and holds 7th Degree Senior Master Instructor credentials in two disciplines. He has been an instructor of Personal Safety/Defensive Tactics for past 20 years in corporate and private setting prior to joining SAM Inc. He also serves as Adjunct Instructor/Trainer in Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics at the Harrisburg Police Academy.
Andy Kirby is Chief Operations Officer at The Arc of Indiana and the Executive Director of The Arc of Indiana Foundation. This role allows him hands-on leadership and administrative responsibilities of the Erskine Green Training Institute, which is the vehicle utilized by the Foundation to provide post-secondary vocational skills training to people with disabilities. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and has worked in the developmental disabilities industry for 15 years. Andy is also a program and administrative surveyor for CARF.
Mary Ann is the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Service Access & Management, Inc., a NACM Charter Member organization. SAM, Inc. is a human service organization serving over 25,000 individuals in 65 counties in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a Pennsylvania State University graduate, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and she is currently a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Additionally, she earned her Masters of Science Degree in Leadership. Mary Ann has over 35 years of progressive management experience in not-for-profit, financial services, administration, and public accounting sectors. Her areas of expertise include organizational leadership strategies, strategic planning, financial analysis, and financial reporting. Mary Ann joined the NACM board in 2012 and currently serves as the Association’s Treasurer.
Carol is Director of Community Planning, Program Development, and Training for the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health. She has worked in several states as a case manager, administrator, and educator and continues to provide these services through a private consulting practice. Dr. Kuprevich has been a board member for NACM since 2002 and is on the advisory councils of numerous academic institutions. She is currently the NACM Treasurer.
Stephanie Lawson, LCSW, is Regional Director for Mental Health Services with Service Access and Management, Inc. in Central Pennsylvania. She has been employed with SAM Inc. for over 10 years and has over 15 years experience in the Human Services field. Stephanie graduated with her Master’s Degree from Temple University and achieved her Clinical Social Work License in the state of Pa. Stephanie was awarded the XCEL Supervisor Award during the 2017 National Association of Case Management Conference. Stephanie has displayed effective leadership and innovation in her team’s success while transitioning to a remote work environment.
Nicole Lorenzetti, BA, is an Onboarding, Outreach and Quality supervisor for Mental Health Services serving the western region of Service, Access, & Management, Inc. She has been in the mental health field for 15 years, spending over 10 of those years with SAM. She was the first targeted case management supervisor at SAM to be awarded the Master Supervisor title. Nicole graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Nicole’s current work includes helping create inventive ways to recruit and onboard staff, in an increased virtual setting, that grows engaged, proactive, and determined staff.
Marc Maddy is the Director of Organizational Quality, Effectiveness, & Development at Service Access & Management, Inc. In this role he oversees the organization’s functions surrounding learning and development, quality service and practice excellence, and organizational effectiveness and community impact.
Marc is a career social worker. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social; and is completing his Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Kutztown University. Marc is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania with over 15 years of experience working in various human service organizations.
Jeff Marks has forty (40) years of experience in behavioral health, including direct service and administrative/management responsibilities in community, forensic, private, and educational settings. Related programming includes: Mental Health residential services; Crisis Intervention/Delegate Services; Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Treatment; Family-Based and Wrap-Around Services; case management services; employee assistance; drug & alcohol counseling; school administration/student services; providing lethality assessments in correctional facilities; providing therapy in private practice. Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is licensed as a Psychologist.
Connie G. Mastovich is Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Reclamere, Inc. She began her career providing technical support in a health care setting. Her career path then took her into the government and military sector in a security role which included an eight-year stint at Northrop Grumman, the world’s 3rd largest defense contractor. Connie is also an accomplished public speaker. She has presented at large conferences such as InfoSec World and NAID, as well as smaller, local groups (Infragard, ISACA). She takes the importance and scope of security seriously, while also providing a personal touch that includes sharing experiences from her many years in the field.
Rebekka Matthews, BSW, is the Onboarding, Outreaching and Quality Supervisor of the South-Central Region for Service Access and Management, Inc. Mental Health Service line in Pennsylvania. She has been employed with SAM Inc. for 2 years. Rebekka graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work from Limestone University in 2010 where she was awarded the Social Work Student of the year. Her passions include mental health, fighting for human rights and social change while making communities stronger, families healthier and increase compassion in all areas of life.
Bianca D. McCall is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; a Contracted Subject Matter Expert in the Epidemiology of Suicidal Behavior, and 10 years the Founder & Owner of Desert Rose Counseling Group; a champion in suicide prevention. Bianca is the Creator and Host of, The UNNI Podcast & Reach In Now, the docuseries; of which Bianca connects with trauma survivors, from across the world.
Bianca is a suicide survivor. During her collegiate basketball career, Bianca lost a teammate to suicide. Experiencing survivors’ remorse borne what has manifested into Bianca's life’s work and purpose.

Presenter(s) Bio Kasey Moyer, Director of MHA-Nebraska, assisted in the development of the state’s first peer-directed and nationally accredited (CARF) programs and the largest peer-run organization in the Midwest, employing 45 peer specialists. Programs include supported employment, peer-run respite house, and the law enforcement referral program. Kasey worked with the Nebraska Department of Corrections, Parole and Probation to implement peer operated re-entry services. In 2018 the peer-run transitional home for people reentering the community expanded to a 20-bedroom home under the direction of Kasey. She is an appointed member of the Restricted Housing Workgroup, focusing on persons living with SMI currently incarcerated.
Ervin Munro has an M.S. in School Psychology and a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He’s worked as a licensed School Psychologist, Educator, Case Manager, Director of Social Services, and medical Operations Manager. Currently, he works as a private Educator and Consultant.
Mr. Munro provided services in multicultural settings for homeless persons, persons with mental illnesses, chronic health conditions, physical disabilities, post-incarcerated, veterans, substance users/abusers, older adults, persons affected by HIV/AIDS, homeless and runaway youth, hospice and homecare patients, and immigrants/refugees.
He serves on the NACM Board of Directors and is Chair of the Membership Committee.
Lakiesha K. Oliver is a Clinical Professional Counselor-Intern with a passion and focus on preventive mental health and group dynamics. She is a disabled Air Force veteran who has lived and traveled throughout the world. Lakiesha provides care specifically center around the “greater good” worldview. In recent years she has acted as an employment and transition counselor assisting military members and families in preparation for civilian life. Lakiesha is an active volunteer addressing mental health stigma and awareness in the Southern Nevada area. She currently provides therapy and psychoeducation for community members who are under-insured, uninsured, and undocumented through Solutions of Change, Las Vegas.
Veronica Pilon, LCSW, is the Deputy Director for Mental Health Services with Service Access and Management, Inc. in Central Pennsylvania. She has been employed with SAM Inc. for 3 years and has over 18 years of experience in the Mental Health field. Veronica graduated with her Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and achieved her Clinical Social Work License in the State of Pennsylvania. Veronica is a Board Member of The Edible Classroom and a practicing Clinician in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Veronica promotes leadership through mentoring with passion and guiding her teams to strengthen and elevate their leadership potential.
Jacque Pulling is the Assistant Vice President of Care Coordination at The Columbus Organization. She has nearly 20 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Jacque has held positions as a Case Manager, Supervisor, and State Director. In her current role, Jacque oversees Care Coordination services in various states. She strives to ensure that the individuals served have the most meaningful lives possible and finds pure joy in even the smallest successes. Jacque enjoys weekend kayak adventures with her husband, watching her son play football and baseball and shopping with her daughter.
Tonya Ravnell-Kinnard is a DSW Student at Kutztown University of PA. She is a full time medical social worker in the field of dialysis, and an adjunct professor at Edinboro University of PA. Her research interest includes medical social work, health behaviors, psychosocial and cultural behaviors, and health promotion and social work leadership.
Dr. Richards has over 25 years of experience providing behavior supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe behavior disorders, and psychiatric disorders. After serving as the State Behavior Analyst Coordinator for the State of Tennessee, a behavior analyst at Southbury Training School, and the Chief Behavior Analyst at Clover Bottom Developmental Center, she was the Director of Behavior Services for The Columbus Organization for 15 years. She is currently Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for The Columbus Organization, where she oversees all quality and compliance programs in an effort to ensure meaningful outcomes for people.
Michael Rodriguez is a Master BCM Supervisor for Service Access and Management. Happily married to his lovely wife for 25 years, he prioritizes time with his family and enjoys helping others. Mike earned his Bachelors in Science degree in Bible and has been working in the Human Services field for 23 years. He is presently supervising a team of Blended Case Managers who serve over 250 individuals. He is committed to Service Access Management’s goal of leaving everyone he serves better off. An advocate for finding a win-win solution in every situation, Mike continues to challenge himself in learning creative ways in encouraging the individuals his team works with to be successful in their wellness. He remains active in his community as an associate pastor of a local church. He enjoys reading and encouraging others to fulfill their potential.
Shelby Rush has spent 5 years working at Service Access Management, Inc. supervising a behavior modification program for youth involved in the foster care and juvenile probation system. Using adventure learning and social and emotional skill development, Shelby focuses on building developmental relationships and fostering an environment where kids can safely explore the behavioral patterns that negatively impact their quality of life. Outside of work, Shelby loves to read and enjoy the outdoors. Often hiking or backpacking with a book at her side!
Jill Schaeffer is the Director of Community Wellness and Service Supports Program at Service Access & Management, Inc., a NACM Charter Member Organization. SAM, Inc. is a human service organization serving over 25,000 individuals in 65 counties in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Penn State University, and is also a St. Xavier’s University graduate earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She is also a Registered Nurse. Jill has over 26 years in varying health care settings, including acute care, hospice, long-term care and home and community based services.

Melissa Shingle, BS, NADD-DDS, is a Regional Director of Mental Health Services at Service Access & Management, Inc., Berks and Schuylkill Counties, Pennsylvania. Ms. Shingle has had a pivotal role in multiple programs during her 12 years of service at SAM, Inc. Previously, Ms. Shingle provided oversight to the Forensic Diversion Program, Forensic Blended Case Management, and Forensic Peer Services in Berks County. She oversaw the work that further developed the Forensic Mental Health Diversion Program as well as case management services. Ms. Shingle graduated from Alvernia College with a Bachelor Degree in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice and is currently working toward her graduate degree in the Psychology of Leadership at Penn State University.
Ms. Shingle has also presented at the National Association of Forensic Counselors in 2018.

in Human Resources, in a variety of industries (Human Services, Defense, Government, Education, Banking, Museums and Retail). She has been with SAM, Inc. for over 8 years, and is a leader in the Human Resources Department. Her passion is development of people, programs and initiatives that bring lasting, positive change and efficiency. As an ICF-Certified Coach, she works with individuals and teams in support of reaching their goals. Her strengths and expertise all hinge on one thing; relationships.
As the Associate Vice President of Behavioral Health and Health Choices for Geisinger Health Plan, Stacey Staudenmeier is responsible for the oversight of the Behavioral Health Care Management, Special Needs Unit and Community Health Assistant program within Population Health. Stacey’s team focuses on high risk women’s and pediatrics, coordination of physical health and behavioral health, and addressing Social Determinants of Health to improve access and quality of health care. Stacey joined Geisinger Health Plan in 2013.
Prior to joining Geisinger, Stacey worked for a Pennsylvania Behavioral Health Managed Care Organization for 4+ years and has an additional 8 years’ experience working in Behavioral Health with over half of that time providing direct patient care as well as management and oversight in an Outpatient setting.
Stacey is a graduate of the Temple University School of Social Work Master’s Program and currently holds a Pennsylvania Social Work License. Additionally, Stacey holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Saint Joseph’s University.
Robin Teitelbaum is the Quality Service & Practice Excellence Manager for Service Access and Management, Inc. In her role, Robin is responsible to coordinate activities related to quality case management service delivery and continuous practice improvement, including monitoring program quality, developing and operating SAM Credentialing and Certification programs, and conducting instructor-led staff development experiences. Robin has been in the field for over 30 years, having worked as a case manager, case management supervisor, and program specialist, and director of services, specializing in children and families for over 25 years. Robin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Megan E. Tritt MSW, LCSW is the VHA Health Systems Specialist, Preventative Ethics Coordinator in Butler, Pennsylvania. She is responsible for delivering performance improvement techniques to a broad array of programs and services throughout the medical center, including LEAN, Six Sigma, Coaching, Project Management, and Training. She also serves as the Integrated Ethics Preventative Coordinator for the medical center. As coordinator of the preventative ethics program she functions in her facility as the subject matter expert in addressing ethics quality gaps on a system level. Megan is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Social Work program at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania and she received her MSW from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Carolyn Underwood holds a degree in Sociology from Indiana University and has 15 years of experience in the field of case management. As the Director of Case Management Operations for Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG), she is responsible for ensuring that IPMG Managers and Case Managers have all the tools they need to successfully support the Individuals IPMG is privileged to support. As a certified LifeCourse Ambassador, she promotes the LifeCourse Framework philosophy and use of the LifeCourse Framework tools in Person Centered Planning. It is Carolyn’s strong belief that as case managers, our role is to assist individuals in advocating for their personal wants and needs, while ensuring they have the information, resources, and supports they desire to make those decisions.
Tori has worked as a substance use coordinator and resource coordinator for Resources for Human Development (RHO) FaSST/Connections since 2012, working with individuals experiencing homelessness. Tori is a 2-time presenter and volunteer at The National Association of Case Management Conference, an alumni and former panelist of RHD's Leadership Development Program, and the Founder and President of Hoops 4 Hope, a non-profit organization in Philadelphia which utilizes basketball to engage and empower individuals experiencing homelessness. When Tori isn't working, she enjoys playing softball with colleagues and spending time with her family
John Vafeas is the Chair of the Department of Social Work at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He completed undergraduate degrees in both Greece and the United States and received his MSW and DSW from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Vafeas’ clinical and research work centered in the field of vocational rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities and for the past 25 years he has taught at Kutztown University. He has held previous faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania and Ryder University. Dr. Vafeas’ research includes services delivery systems, policy and program evaluation, accreditation, and graduate and undergraduate social work curriculum design. John joined the NACM board in 2014.
Sergeant John Walsh has been a member of the Lincoln Police Department since December of 1998 and is currently assigned as the Team Detective of the Southeast Team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas. During his career at LPD, he has worked as a Field Training Officer, Criminal Investigator, and Patrol Sergeant. Sergeant Walsh is currently a liaison to the mental health community in Lincoln.
Tahira is a former presenter at the NACM conference and a social worker of 7 years. She has spent the last year and a half as a residential social worker for Resources for Human Development's Mainstream Program, serving 20 formerly homeless individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, a field in which she is passionate about. Tahira earned her MSW from West Chester University and awarded the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant. As a HRSA grant recipient, Tahira received training in the importance of integrated care, as well as, expanding behavioral health services to medically underserved populations.
Dr. Wei earned her doctoral degree in social work from University of Texas at Arlington. She teaches research related courses, introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare, and practice courses. Dr. Wei's most recent scholarship is focused on social and economic development, health rights, critical thinking, substance use prevention, and elderly social isolation services. Dr. Wei has presented papers in international and national conferences. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Presenter(s) Bio Mary Rita Weller is an Assistant Professor at Kutztown University’s Department of Social Work and a licensed social worker. She has over 20-years clinical experience working primarily with children and adults specifically sexual minorities and individuals with disabilities. Her area of clinical and research expertise is in individuals with disabilities and sexual minorities such as gay, lesbian, transgender, etc. and issues around poverty. She has a published several articles and book chapters related to poverty, women’s issues, disabilities, relationship building and supporting sexual minorities.
Dave has over 41 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He began his case management work with Central Behavioral Health in 1980. Central Behavioral Health Case Management supports over 800 people a year. The department employs case management staff providing support to children, transitional age youth, adults and older adults. Central Behavioral Health's main office is in Norristown Pennsylvania. Also, Dave is the board president of a local human service collaborative ""lnteragency Council of Norristown"" as well as a National Association of Case Management board member.
Cheryl Wright graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Chemical Dependency from Pitzer College. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As an Assistant Director for the Clark County Department of Juvenile Justice Services, she oversees Diversion, Prevention and Early Intervention Programming. She is licensed by the state as a social worker and is a board approved clinical supervisor. She served on the Clark County Children’s Behavioral Health Consortium for 10 years and is a current voting member of the School Justice Partnership and a board member of the National Assessment Center Association.
Shawn Wunder is an eclectic eLearning professional, website developer, game designer, and instructor. He holds a Master's Degree from Bloomsburg University in Instructional Technology and certifications in eLearning and Instructional Game Design. He has spent over a decade assisting nonprofits with their technological needs, and has taught website design at the collegiate level.
Ginny Ysa is the Information Officer at Service Access & Management, Inc. In this role, she has coordinated the implementation of technology solutions to support the company’s mission. She started out as an engineer, but soon fell in love with the human services field. She has worked in in this field for over 15 years, starting out as a case manager then moving into more administrative and technical positions. Ginny holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Social Work from Kutztown University.
