The emergence of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory™ at Arizona State University is rooted in the conviction that we can and must make a meaningful contribution to ensuring a habitable planet and a future in which well-being is attainable for all humankind. We draw on ASU's decades-long deep commitment to use-inspired research and service to our community, explored across five core spaces:
- Discovery, through the Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation
- Learning, through the College of Global Futures
- Solutions, through programs like the Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service
- Networks, through partnerships with organizations like Conservation International, The Earth League and The Sustainability Consortium
- Engagement, through convenings like the Global Futures 21 conference and the Sustainability Solutions Festival
