• What is your filtering process to vet the suppliers posting products or services? How do we know they are legitimate? Do you offer a system where we can qualify the vendor?

Our vetting process is called Business Verification and it process by third parties: all supplier need to pass business verification every year The business verification process includes checks of bank statements, phone calls, proof of address, company certificates, and other documents.

You can also check the star rating of a supplier, which is calculated by an algorithm that takes buyer feedback into consideration. Additionally, you can view buyer feedback, verify if the supplier uses Trade Assurance, and see how many years the supplier has been on the platform. Finally, we recommend conducting transactions on the platform when selecting a supplier.

Also, buyers can check for "Verified Suppliers" that undergo a certification process to demonstrate their supply capabilities and trustworthiness. This process involves independent third-party institutions (SGS and TUBV) inspecting and assessing the supplier's company profile, management system, production capabilities, and process controls. The verification may include online research, phone calls, website checks, and database searches to ensure the supplier's claims are accurate. Verified Suppliers are marked with an icon throughout the sourcing experience. Benefits include world-class inspection, free inspection reports, verified videos, professional suppliers, more exposure to potential clients, increased trust with clients, priority quotations, and showcase spots to boost product listings. To find a Verified Supplier, you can tick the Verified Supplier icon in the filter search.
