Dr. James McGibney is an American entrepreneur and former United States Marine. He is the founder and CEO of Bullyville and is the Senior Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance for Rosendin. Mr. McGibney has been featured on Netflix (The Most Hated Man on the Internet), VICE (Taking Down The Revenge Porn King), ABC Nightline, Extra!, Dr. Phil, Maury Povich, Howard Stern, The View, Good Morning America, Dr. Drew, Rolling Stone Magazine and Wired. In particular, through Bullyville, Mr. McGibney aggressively went after and shut down the three largest revenge pornography (image based sexual abuse) websites in existence.
McGibney earned his master's degree in criminal justice from Boston University and attended Harvard Business School for his Executive Education. On August 16, 2021, McGibney earned Harvard University's Cybersecurity Certification: Managing Risk in the Information Age. On May 18, 2024, Mr. McGibney earned his Doctorate in Learning Technology from Pepperdine.
McGibney served in the United States Marine Corps, serving tours of duty with Third Surveillance Reconnaissance Intelligence Group (overseas deployment) and Marine Security Guard Battalion. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal while serving as the Operations Chief at Marine Security Guard Battalion in Quantico, Virginia.
McGibney founded SecuraTrak, a patented wireless satellite-based asset tracking system. He authored numerous patents based on wireless and GPS technology, in particular Patent 6,850,839 (spatial zone tracking relativity) and Patent 6,509,867 (article tracking device). SecuraTrak was eventually acquired by a publicly traded company. He has over 40 trademarks filed with the USPTO.
McGibney was the first person in the world to launch Cisco UCS Blade Technology and did so within a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company (Tutor-Perini.) He was awarded Cisco's IT Excellence Pioneer award.
When asked what he was most proud of within this profession career, McGibney stated, "Through Bullyville, I have been able to help countless women and young girls get their unauthorized sexually based images off the web (while simultaneously getting revenge on the perpetrators). I've been doing this for over a decade and have never charged a victim a penny. You only get one go around in life, and I want to make the biggest impact possible, while saving lives. Jolsna John Thomas is President of The Rosendin Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of Rosendin Holdings, parent company to Rosendin Electric (Rosendin) and Modular Power Solutions (MPS). She oversees all volunteerism and community giving for the company. Since her tenure commenced, The Rosendin Foundation has awarded over $1.8M to over 200 nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. It also launched TRF Camp Build, a weeklong hands-on construction camp for middle schoolers nationally.
Outside of work, Jolsna serves as President-Elect of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Austin Chapter as well as Chairs the City of Austin’s Public Safety Civil Service Commission. When not serving on board and commissions, she enjoys entertaining and travel.
Jolsna obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law.
