Halim, a Risk Management practitioner who sits on various private company boards and two public listed company boards. He has over 42 years’ experience in the practice of Risk Management and Risk Transfer and is currently the CEO of Sterling Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd.
Halim has evolved into an entrepreneur with other business interests taking a third of his time, whilst he remained centrally focused on Insurance Advisory and Risk Management services.

Pooba is a Regional Risk Consultant based in Singapore with 30 years of practical experience in risk/ insurance. Pooba is a professional engineer and operates under “Talent Asia Training & Consulting” of Singapore. He specializes in the insurance space with a special focus on engineering/ property insurance and risk management aspects.
Pooba is a regular lecturer with the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) and the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII). He is also the Author of a MII publication entitled, “Engineering Insurance.” Besides training, Pooba also undertakes property risk surveys and provides consultancy services to various clients in Singapore and the following regions: Asia, Middle East & Africa.
Mohamad is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, holds a Diploma in General Insurance from the Australian Insurance Institute and Master of Communications Management from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.
He has over 29 years’ experience in Risk Management and is currently a Board Member of Labuan Reinsurance Ltd and Chairman of The Academy of Risk Management Malaysia.
He is also on the technical team representing Malaysia on ISO31000 Risk Management Standard and a team member of Science and Technology Expert Panel for Disaster Risk Financing (STEP), NADMA.

Ranjit Singh has a special focus on ERM, internal audit, forensic accounting, and transformation & programme management services. He has over 30 years of experience in these fields through his assignments and appointments in Malaysia and the USA.
Ranjit was a partner of a big four firm where he pioneered the ERM, internal audit and forensic practice. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Global Institute of Internal Auditors (“IIA”) for the term 2017 to 2021.
Ranjit was also a member of the Global IIA Audit Committee, IIA’s International Internal Audit Standards Board, President of Asian Confederation of Institute of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) and President of the IIA Malaysia. Ranjit has led and completed governance, ERM, internal audit and other advisory projects for more than 200 companies (PLCs, GLCs & MNCs) covering various industries.
Marina Yong has worked as a consultant and advisor in the sustainability space for 30 years covering a range of environmental, occupational health and safety and energy domains. She has worked with numerous sectors including oil and gas, chemicals, consumer goods, electronics, and telecommunications, among others. She continually scans the renewable energy and energy storage technology space which has been helpful in the recent development of a net zero target for a board-listed company.
Her public sector engagements also include designing environmental audit guidelines for the Department of Environment Malaysia and the Ministry of Environment Qatar, energy efficiency policies for Malaysia’s building sector as part a UNDP project, and chemical health risk assessment guidelines for the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia.
Marina currently serves on the board of Pengurusan Air Selangor (PUAS), where she is also on the audit committee. She is supporting Air Selangor on the strategic direction for a Net Zero water utility business. Marina is also on the board of Proforest Malaysia to advise the strategic direction of forest and resource management for agro-plantations.
