The family dynamic on the hit ABC sitcom "Modern Family" can be so outrageous it is funny. But, unfortunately, in our experience, there are certain family issues that are far from funny; for example, when the family is under extreme stress from taking care of an older parent or loved one. In this seminar, Attorney Peck will break down this family dynamic and offer solutions on how to communicate with families dealing with dementia. Dementia will also be addressed in the family system from the court's perspective, including pre-planning that is available upon a diagnosis of early-stage dementia all the way through guardianship and deciding who is the best person to act as guardian when the family is fighting.
