Rural STEM Education researchers
Chaney Mosley and
Rosemary McBride are embarking on an exciting project focused on education and information literacy in rural high school settings. They have crafted a research instrument designed to evaluate the perceived competence of rural high school STEM students in information literacy, and need help to make sure the instrument is valid.
They are specifically seeking volunteers from the following groups:
- English Teachers (High School & College)
- Math Teachers (High School & College)
- Science Teachers (High School & College)
- Social Studies Teachers (High School & College)
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teachers (High School & College)
- Librarians (High School, College, & Research)
Expertise from these groups is crucial in reviewing the research instrument and ensuring its relevance and validity. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape how we assess and understand the role of information literacy in preparing students for various postsecondary paths, including higher education, military service, or immediate workforce entry.
