The Association of Illinois Rural and Small Schools, the official NREA State Affiliate for Illinois, just wrapped up the first year of their Rural IL CTE Project. The first year of work focused on surveying schools and students about their CTE offerings, needs, successes, and challenges. All of that data was compiled and analyzed to craft recommendations for next steps to the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

The EmpowerED Superintendents edLeader Panel monthly broadcast series, co-hosted by CoSN, AASA and edWeb.net and sponsored by ClassLink, begins Season #7 on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 5:00 pm Eastern Time, with a focus on “Leading Education Technology Innovations: Current Challenges and Solutions”.

Participants in edWeb.net’s edWebinars and edLeader Panels broadcasts may earn continuing education (CE) credits after viewing the live or recorded broadcasts. The edWeb CE credits also meet the qualifications for several professional associations for license, membership, and certification renewal, including CoSN’s CETL re-certification program.
