OSHA mandates that every school district must have a designated CHO. Failure to comply can result in a severe financial penalty of $11,340. This is not just a recommendation; it’s an enforceable legal safety standard. Ask Yourself: - Who do you call in case of a fire, chemical spill, or accident in your science or CTE labs?
- Who is responsible for annual safety training and chemical inventory management?
- Are you comfortable bearing personal responsibility for all lab accidents without a CHO?
Safer STEM’s CHO Training Programs can help ensure your CHOs are well-trained and understand their legal responsibilities. We offer: - CHO Leadership Academy: Weekly live online sessions thru Dec 10, 2024
- Self-paced CHO Training Course
Special Offer: NREA members receive a 25% discount! Make your schools safer and reduce your personal liability. Enroll now! |
