Watch Party and Panel Discussion: The Critical Need for STEM Education and Careers for Justice-Impacted People

STEM-OPS is hosting a video watch party and panel discussion on Wednesday, June 28 (4:00–5:30 pm ET) to discuss the critical need for STEM education and careers for justice-impacted people. This is a free virtual event where you can listen to and ask questions of our colleagues and friends who are fighting for access to STEM education for people who need jobs when they reenter the community after release and for people who need acceptance into the community by educators and employers.

2023 JumpStart Virtual Conference – Here to Stay: Reigniting the Fire for Racial Justice

The Vanderbilt University Initiative for Race Research and Justice (RRJ) will host its fourth JumpStart Virtual Conference for educators on Tuesday, July 25 (9:00 am–4:00 pm CT). The professional learning opportunity will provide PreK-12 educators, graduate students, university faculty and staff as well as community members across the nation an opportunity to learn about ways to continue working towards racial justice and equity in the current climate.
